Award-winning Aeroseal technology
A gold medal winner of the 2016 AHR Expo Innovation Awards competition in the ventilation category, patented Aeroseal technology tackles leaks in your 4Front Energy from the inside out and can be completed within one business day. Aeroseal software allows our technician to accurately measure the leakage in your homeābefore, during, and after the sealing process so you know itās working.
Steps in the process
-
We plug your wall registers in order for air to escape through ducts to ādiscoverā where the leaks are.
-
Next, we inject sealant into the ducts for approximately one hour.
-
Small aerosol particles are kept suspended in the airflow by continuous air movement.
-
As the air stream makes a sharp turn to exit through a leak, the particles collide with and adhere to the leak edges, building up until the holes are closed.
-
A computer-generated analysis summarizing the amount of leakage in your home is produced, providing verification of the success of the process.
